Each guest has a small, table-top wireless device, called an “ESP Hub,” that instantly connects them to their server throughout their entire meal, and all front-of-house employees wear an “ESP Watch” that receives the real-time information from their guests, as well as from the kitchen, bar, hosts and each other. The system’s use is simple and allows guests an unprecedented ability to control their most valued resource – their time. With ESP, guests no longer have to wait for their check, a refill or to be greeted, and employees instantly know when their food and drinks are ready in the kitchen and bar, when a table has been bussed, or when a manager is needed at the host stand. ESP is installed overnight and restaurant employees can train themselves through web-based interactive training, leading to immediate results for the restaurant.
